Video uploading guidelines

Minimum requirements

• Encoded in .mp4, .mov, .mkv, or .webm
• No smaller than 300 pixels on either width or height.
• No taller than 6,000 pixels on either width or height.
• No higher audio bitrate than 400k.
• No longer than 4 days long.
• No shorter than 20 seconds long.
• No smaller than 100MB.
• No larger than 100GB.

Recommended for best experience

• Match the bitrate you intend to process at (3M, 6.8M, 15M or 30M).
• Use a standard video size (1920x1080, 1080x1920, 2560x1440).
• Do not use CapCut or ClipChamp.
• Export as a .mp4.

Potential errors

• “Error?” in uploading queue: Invalid file format, or corrupted.
• “Error (3-meta)”: Corrupt file.
• “Invalid data, contact support”: Video violates a minimum requirement.
• “error (1-refunded)”: General technical error, retry.
